Join PRLT and Friends of Casco Bay for a combined Water Reporter Event! Sara Freshley, Community Organizer and Volunteer Coordinator at Friends of Casco Bay, will explain their community science initiative, Water Reporter, where volunteers submit photos, data, and notes to help monitor and protect the Casco Bay watershed.

PRLT staff members Toby, Clara, and Abigail will cover our water quality monitoring efforts, including participation in Maine DEP’s Volunteer River Monitoring Program and our continuous meter data collections. They will also share insights into PRLT’s land stewardship initiatives around the Presumpscot River and its watersheds.

This is a great event to hear from river experts, explore a dam removal site, and learn more about stormwater pollution.

This event will take place at PRLT’s Rivermeadow Nature Preserve.
