Nature Poetry Read-Aloud

  • Rivermeadow Nature Preserve Westbrook, ME 04092 (map)

This spring we’re taking the written word into the great outdoors in a three-part literary event series led by our very own Marketing and Development Manager, Emily Southard. Our second event is a nature poetry read-aloud: bring your favorite poems inspired by nature and the outdoors and we’ll share them aloud on the banks of the Presumpscot River as the sun sets. Will you bring some Mary Oliver? Wendell Berry? Ada Limón? Robert Frost?

This event is free to attend, but registration is required.

Additional events in this series included a group discussion of Robin Wall Kimmerer’s The Serviceberry in April and an upcoming group discussion of Amity Gaige’s novel Heartwood in June.
