Walk or run through the woods searching for bright orange flags nestled among the trees, rocks, and rivers at Lowell Preserve. Serious orienteers will have fun following their map and bushwhacking, while newcomers can use a provided map to stay mostly on trails to explore caves and waterfalls. 

No map and compass experience required. This family-friendly event is great for all abilities, and volunteer instructors will be on-site to help prepare you for your adventure. 

There is no pre-registration for this event. Drop by any time between 10 a.m. and 2 p.m. on Sunday, Nov. 8 at the Lowell Farm Trailhead (47 Falmouth Rd) to grab a course map that suits your abilities. (If you come early, you may be able to try multiple short courses!)

This event has a $10 cash-only fee ($5 for children/under 18). The fee helps support this event hosted by the nonprofit Up North Orienteers. The event is free for Up North Orienteering Members. Groups are welcome. Visit upnoor.org for more information or to join the club.
