Join PRLT and Don Westcott for a historic walk through Gambo Preserve!

Don Wescott is a long-time resident of Gorham and has been involved with PRLT since 2009. He will lead a trail walk around the preserve to discuss the history of the Gambo Powder Mill, which he learned from local historians Dr. Maurice Whitten and Joel Eastman. He will also share his role in stewardship, trail maintenance, and developing interpretive signage at Gambo Preserve.

The walk will last approximately two hours, and follow the trail loop. After the walk, attendees can join PRLT staff for a brief hike on the Mountain Division Trail to visit Orchard Ridge Farm and enjoy a local fall treat!
