JOB OPENING

Development Coordinator

Organizational Information:

The Presumpscot Regional Land Trust conserves and stewards essential lands and waters throughout the Presumpscot River watershed and builds deep community connections through trails, water access, education, and partnerships. We manage over 3,000 acres of conserved lands, 30+ miles of public trails, and a regional water quality monitoring program.

This position is part of a broader strategic initiative to elevate PRLT’s visibility, deepen community ties, and grow long-term donor support. Our newly developed Donor Engagement and Fundraising Plan provides a blueprint for how we communicate our mission, connect with our diverse audiences, and inspire lasting support through data-driven, relationship-centered strategies.

At the heart of this strategy are three bold messaging pillars:

  • We Are Stewards – honoring our legacy of conservation and showing how donor support protects natural spaces, wildlife habitats, and ecological health through storytelling and transparent reporting.

  • Trail Expansion for All – amplifying the emotional connections that people form with nature through recreation, and ensuring that new trail infrastructure welcomes diverse user groups including families, adaptive athletes, and mountain bikers.

  • See Yourself in the Land Trust – actively inviting people of all backgrounds to see themselves reflected in PRLT’s programs, leadership, and stories, reinforcing that this land—and this work—is for everyone.
