Mill Brook Preserve, Westbrook

Join us on World Fish Migration Day for a guided hike on our new Mill Brook Preserve where we will explore for alewife fish migrating from the ocean up Mill Brook to Highland Lake. In the last two years thousands of alewife have migrated up Mill Brook in the month of May. This guided hike will be led by Karen Wilson, Professor in the Environmental Science and Policy Department at USM and expert on alewife, and Matt Craig, Presumpscot Regional Land Trust board member and staff member for the Casco Bay Estuary Partnership. This will be a forested and hilly 1.5 mile hike. The event is free, but space is limited, RSVP required.
