Gambo Preserve, Gorham
Join us for a guided walk on our Gambo Preserve to learn the rich history of the Presumpscot River. The program will focus on stories about the Cumberland and Oxford Canal and the Oriental Powder Mills of the 1800s. There are visible remains of the canal and the powder mills that can be explored. The guided walk will be led by Don Wescott, steward and docent of the Gambo Preserve and board member of the Presumpscot Regional Land Trust. The event is free, but space is limited, RSVP required to firstname.lastname@example.org.
