Pringle Wildlife Preserve, Windham
Join us at the Pringle Wildlife Preserve to see the stars and learn about constellations, astronomy, and celestial navigation as well as community issues like light pollution. The Observation Deck at Pringle is a great viewing platform and is guaranteed to keep our feet dry whatever the March weather decides to do. The event is free, but space is limited, RSVP is required.
SPRING WALK TO DISCOVER FROGS & SALAMANDERS
Saturday April 29th
Join us for a Vernal Pool walk to see a variety of creatures waking up after the long Winter. Vernal pools are small, temporary woodland ponds that are vital to wood frogs, spotted salamanders, fairy shrimp and the wide variety of forest animals that feed on them. This walk will be led by naturalist and wetlands expert Jim Boyle of Boyle Associates. The event is free, but space is limited, RSVP is required.
