Don’t get caught inside this winter!

Join Portland Water District educators outdoors this winter in the Sebago Lake region for snowshoe and cross country ski outings. Hot cocoa and an energizing trail mix will be offered during these events. Participants must provide their own equipment. Contact your local parks and recreation for information about renting gear. Events are subject to weather conditions. Register in advance.

Cross Country Skiing
ski_pwdA moderately paced, 2 hour cross-country ski on well-maintained, relatively even trails. This event is intended for beginner-intermediate skill levels, but maps will be handed out for those wanting to travel at a faster pace.
One Saturday a month from 10 am – 12 pm on the
Sebago Lake Land Reserve (SLLR) in Standish

Full Moon Snowshoe Treks

moderately paced treks over relatively even trails.

February 14 @ 5:45 pm – Pond Road trail to

March 18 @ 6:30pm – Otter Ponds, SLLR, Standish
