In 2012, Presumpscot Regional Land Trust successfully:

Took on a donated conservation easement for 185 acres of the 483-acre Randall Orchard property and is making progress on purchasing an easement on the remaining 296 acres;
Coordinated the Sebago to the Sea Trail Coalition to finish this 28-mile path;
Worked with other groups to develop conservation priorities for the entire Presumpscot River Watershed;
Established a trail network with the Great Falls Elementary School to improve educational activity on the Hawkes Property; and
Developed a five-year strategic initiative to plan how the land trust will match the accelerating pace of development in the area.
In August, PRLT developed a five-year Strategic Plan in response to the growing threats of our region. Foremost are their goals of protecting more land in the area that align with their conservation values and connecting more people to these special places.

By making a gift today to the Presumpscot Regional Land Trust you can help current and future generations by preserving our community’s natural resources and special places.
